Betreiber wollen Moving-Map und EFB-Funktionen im direkten Sichtfeld der Crew, ohne einen teuren Avionik-Umbau mit langer Nachweisführung. Der Bauraum im AW109-Cockpit ist eng, und das vorhandene Display muss weiter ablesbar bleiben. Konstruktion an der realen Cockpit-Geometrie der AW109, gefräster Aluminiumrahmen mit klemmender Aufnahme ohne Bohren oder Kleben. Der Rahmen kommt ohne externe Stromversorgung aus; ein Anschluss für Dauerstrom ist optional vorgesehen. Auslegung auf die Umweltbedingungen im Cockpit. Designed against the real cockpit geometry of the AW109, a machined aluminium frame with a clamping mount, no drilling or bonding. The frame requires no external power supply; a connection for continuous power is provided as an option. Rated for the environmental conditions in the cockpit.

Ein Schnellentriegelungs-Mechanismus gibt das iPad samt dem vorderen Rahmenteil frei: zum Laden, wenn keine feste Stromversorgung vorhanden ist, für Training und Übung am Boden oder für einen Gerätetausch. Die Crew nimmt das Tablet ohne Werkzeug heraus und setzt es genauso schnell wieder ein. A quick-release mechanism frees the iPad together with the front part of the frame: for charging when no fixed power supply is fitted, for training on the ground, or to swap the device. The crew removes the tablet without tools and refits it just as quickly.

Zulassung vorbereitet bedeutet: Neway erstellt die Nachweisunterlagen und koordiniert den Minor-Change-Prozess mit einem zugelassenen Betrieb. Einbau und Freigabe am Luftfahrzeug übernimmt die Werft. Certification in preparation means: Neway prepares the substantiation documents and coordinates the minor-change process with an approved organisation. Installation and release on the aircraft are carried out by the maintenance organisation.
